Welcome To The Cascade Camera Club
The Cascade Camera Club, serving Central Oregon, was established in 1947. The club is dedicated to stimulating interest in photography and improving the photographic skills of its members. Activities include educational programs, competitions, critique sessions, and field trips. Visitors are always welcome at meetings.
Club members include interested novices, advanced amateurs, and photography professionals. Members work with a wide range of film and digital cameras. Some print their own images, and some rely on commercial processors. All photographers living in Central Oregon, regardless of current level of expertise, are welcome to join the club.
The club holds two meetings a month, usually on the first and third Monday evenings. The first meeting of the month is a competition and club members submit prints and digital images to be judged and critiqued. The rest of the meetings are program nights that cover photography topics of current interest to members.
Club members occasionally coordinate field trips open to other members. The club supports field trip opportunities with announcements at meetings, in the newsletter, and on the website. If you are interested in coordinating a field trip, fill in the club's planning form and either bring it to a meeting or email it to this address. Also, check out the waiver that should be signed by field trip participants.
